A & A Labs — Built for what’s next

Built for what’s next.

What we do

A repository is not a launch.

We build web applications, multi-tenant SaaS platforms and AI-integrated systems designed to remain in service for years — then run them, and do the search work that brings traffic to them.

We work in healthcare, fintech, commerce and travel — where an outage is an incident, a lost record is a liability, and the auditor eventually asks.

The A & A way

4 moves.

THE SCOPE

02 — THE SCOPE

We define it before we commit.

Requirements established and a fixed estimate issued — not a provisional figure subject to later revision.

THE BUILD

03 — THE BUILD

We design and build it.

Written progress at an agreed interval, in plain language, with risks raised as they emerge rather than at the deadline.

THE HANDOVER

04 — THE HANDOVER

It leaves documented.

Tested, conventionally structured code. You keep the ability to move the work to another team at any point.

THE WATCH

05 — THE WATCH

Then it stays in service.

Monitoring, profiling and maintenance after launch — the years a system spends running are longer than the weeks it spent being built.

The work, applied

pick your world.

Choose an industry to see how we work in it

Healthcare

Regulated data, and the audit trail to prove it.

Patient data has rules attached, and most of them are about who looked at what and when. That is an architecture decision, not a policy document.

  • Access logging on every read of identifiable data, not just on writes.
  • Consent and retention windows enforced in the schema rather than remembered by staff.
  • A documented deletion path with an SLA, because someone will eventually ask.

Travel

Availability that is still true at the moment of booking.

Inventory you do not own, changing faster than you can cache it, behind an API with its own opinions about uptime.

  • Cache strategies with explicit staleness budgets, agreed rather than assumed.
  • Booking races resolved at the database, not hoped away in application code.
  • Graceful degradation when a supplier is down, instead of a blank results page.

E-commerce

Catalogue, checkout, and the search that feeds them.

A storefront is three systems pretending to be one. The interesting failures happen where they meet — stock, price and the index disagreeing.

  • Shopify and WooCommerce integration that survives their rate limits and their outages.
  • Product structured data emitted from the same source as the page, so the two cannot drift.
  • Checkout paths measured, because a 300ms regression there is a revenue number.

Food delivery

Dispatch is a race, and the clock is real.

Orders, couriers and kitchens all change state at once, and the customer is watching a map while they do it.

  • Order state machines that cannot land in two states at once, however the events arrive.
  • Courier position and ETA updated on a budget, so the map stays live without draining the battery.
  • Retries and refunds that reconcile, because a failed handoff is a payment problem too.

Fintech

Money moves once, however many times the request arrives.

Payment work is mostly the unhappy path: the retry, the duplicate webhook, the timeout that already succeeded. That is where the engineering goes.

  • Idempotency keys on anything that moves money, so a retry cannot double-charge.
  • Webhook signatures verified against the raw body before it is parsed.
  • A ledger that reconciles, with the reconciliation itself under test.

Media

A traffic spike is a Tuesday, not an incident.

Publishing at volume is a caching problem wearing an editorial workflow as a disguise. Both have to be right.

  • Edge-cacheable pages with targeted invalidation, so one edit does not flush the site.
  • Editorial tooling that non-technical staff can actually operate unaided.
  • Structured data, feeds and machine-readable surfaces built in, not bolted on.

SaaS

The hundredth tenant should cost what the second did.

Multi-tenancy is decided in the schema on the first day. Retrofitting isolation into a product that already has customers is the expensive version.

  • Tenant isolation enforced at the query layer, so one missing filter cannot leak an account.
  • Billing, usage metering and plan limits designed in from the outset rather than bolted on.
  • Admin tooling your own team can operate — the part that is always left until last.

Professional

Billable time, and the paperwork that follows it.

Practice systems live or die on the unglamorous parts: matter records, time capture, and documents that have to be found again years later.

  • Time and matter records with an audit trail, because invoices get disputed.
  • Document workflows with versioning and retention, not a shared drive and a convention.
  • Integration with the accounting and CRM stack the practice already runs on.

Our own product

OmnioChat

One inbox for WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.

A multi-tenant shared inbox for a business team, with AI-assisted replies, social publishing and contact management over the conversations it already has.

live

Unifies

  • WhatsApp Business
  • Facebook Messenger
  • Instagram Direct
One shared inbox
Every conversation from all three networks in a single queue, with the whole team working it rather than one person holding the phone.
AI-assisted replies
Drafts grounded in the account's own context, offered to a human to send rather than sent on their behalf.
Publishing and contacts
Social publishing and contact management against the same records the conversations belong to.
